I haven't used feathers on my cards for a while now and thought this one worked well with this image taken from the Lavender Rose CD.

I had a couple moments to spare and made another card made from the Lavender Rose CD. This one was just another easy to make card but it would look good if if I had added a few fabric flowers.

Its a while since I added anything to my blog I get so side tracked these days with my mind being in overdrive trying to think up new ideas to share.

This card was made using backing paper and a topper from the Victorian Lace CD. I hope you like it.

I used backing paper from the 'Tranquility' CD. Added some pretty braid, a topper from the same CD and a sentiment.

Another simple card made from just a backing paper from the 'Tranquility' CD and the parasol which is one of those that you pop in drinks. I then added a peel off sticker to conclude.

This tag shaped card makes a nice change. The backing paper was first attached to the card blank and then I added the silver card to the top. Next I attached 'Lois' from NEW 'Glitzy Chic' CD. A strip of organza ribbbon was places along the botton of the card and finished off with a strip of metallic silver hearts (mind they look gold!) I cut out the greetings from the sheets and matted it on matching silver card, attached a brad and put the greeting on pads.

This is Viola one of the elegant ladies from the NEW 'Glitzy Chic' CD.

I covered the base card with backing paper, then added the Viola image and finished off with the greting which I had put on pads. Simple but effective card.

I love playing with paper and more so with easy projects. For this mini book I used backing paper from the Harmony CD. It was a quick and easy make and I was pleased with the result.

I love this topper from the 'Serendipity' CD. Matted on pearlised paper which I cut with fancy edged sizzors I felt this card didn't need much else to it.

I must admit that I enjoy making quick and easy cards. This one is using backing paper and matching topper from the 'Serendipity' CD. Backing paper was attached to the card blank, a topper was placed at and angle and a smaller topper with the fan was added and put on pads. Ribbon and a greeting completes the card.

What could be more simple but effective than adding a couple of toppers which have been matted and cut with fancy edged sizzors and tied some silver thread round the fold.

The toppers are from the 'Serendipity' CD again.

The 'Serendipity' CD is very verastile and can be used for all sorts of cards not just Oriental themed ones.

This was another quicky. Backing paper edged with peel offs and a topper added at an angle.

This was a simple card to make using 3 elements from the 'Harmony' CD. Again I mixed and matched as I think you don't always have to use matching papers and toppers to achieve a pretty effect.

I began with the backing paper then added the corners from the CD. A silver mat was used to lay the kimono on. Some silver thread for the kimono belt and peel off's finalised the card.

I made this card using a topper and matching backing paper from 'Harmony'.
From a square card blank I cut diagonal from the opening to the fold. I then added backing to the inside of the card, edged the slop with a peel off and added the matching topper.

I know I am biased but I love tranqil looking backing papers.

This card was made from the first CD 'Tranquility' which has a 'Taste of the Orient' theme.

I mixed and matched the topper with the backing and I don't think it turned out too bad as both designs seemed to blend in together.

A simple first birthday card which was created with backing paper from Keturah's Designs CD 'Serendipity'.
For this card I used one of the backing papers mounted onto a 'No 1' template and edged it with peel off stickers. A felt rabbit embellishment and greeting finishes off the card.
